We Wish You  A
Merry Christmas And
A Happy And Prosperous New Year

Would you like to easily add some free Christmas pictures with a message like the one above to your blog ?

It's easier than you may think.

Although it can appear to be hard when you have to work out how to do it!

Colourful pictures make reading your blog more enjoyable. Many people can easily use advertising banner images by simply adding the pre written code into a widget text box, so it displays in their sidebar.

A similar piece of copy/paste code can do the same to add these free pictures for a blog into a post.

A problem may be if you don't have a website of your own where you can upload and store your images. Pictures need to be on the web so you can reference them in the code. With free image storage sites such as pikasa and flikr you can upload graphics to your own space on these sites, and reference their url in your code.

The second problem is that many people don't know what the code is to reference and display an image on a web page or in a blog post. They don't know how to write the code or where to put it.

I thought it might help people if I put some free christmas pictures up here. You can simply link to these christmas graphics the same way you do with advertising banners.

I have also given you examples of the image code you can use and explained where it goes and how to change it to make it do what you want it do - ie. display the Christmas picture in your blog post.

Once you have done this a few times, you will feel easier about doing it for images of your own. The first one is always the hardest!

When there's more time, I'll show you more about how to use free pictures for a blog - such as how to crop, resize and recolour pictures, but for now I just wanted to get the free Christmas pictures up so anyone can just use them on their blog if they want to.
