Socialise and Communicate

I don't want anyone to feel they have to do this all alone. It's hard to learn from books and not have a teacher to ask a question of when you get stuck. This is why the comments feature on blogs and the installation of forum software is so useful. You can interact, not just with me but with other members, many of whom will have mastered some techniques already and remember how hard it is.

I will try to answer comments to the blog and questions in the forum, I may not always manage it but I really want to be there for you. It is a lot of work putting all the information together so I can't make promises but I will help if I can.

The Forum - Join the Forum
I've never attempted to start a forum before so this is a wee baby waiting to grow up. I'm hoping that all purchasers of the course will join and participate in discussions. I have so enjoyed 'meeting' people and discussing marketing issues at the How to Corp Help forum and the Conquer your Niche Forum that I really wanted to try out this part of the Master Plan.

I have had severe spam issues when people are allowed to sign up automatically so I have temporarily disabled the auto sign up and members currently need to be approved. This may take a day or so to happen which is unfortunate but better than the nasty feeling that porn advertisements provoke or the clutter that countless pharmacy and gambling links make. When I have installed spam software I'm hoping to reinstate auto sign up.

The Blogs
I really enjoy blogging. I am still learning and it has taken me a while to work it all out, I still have lots to learn regarding themes, plugins, seo and optimization. Finding time to do all I'm learning while still assembling everything here has been a challenge. When the product is finished I'll have more time to do this. As I try things out, I'll use the 3 blogs or the forum to let you know what worked for me. New sites and resources will also be mentioned on the blogs and given in the Blog Tips newsletter.

I'll also keep posting about expert blogs that I read because however much help I can give there are true pro bloggers out there who have blogs with four years or more of content on them that goes well beyong my level of expertise. The best of them I will enter as a feed in the library so you can check for new posts that may interest you.

I will also be linking external blogs shortly such as Yahoo 360, Blogger.com, and Wordpress.com, My Space etc. This is not just to keep me insanely busy but so that you can easily click a link and evaluate the platform by seeing it in action, (albeit still sometimes inexpertly! but I'm getting better everyday and so will you)

Lastly there are blog communities such as blog log and blog catalog where the company of other bloggers is comforting and friendly. No one has to blog alone or be stuck for answers, reach out on the web as you would in life and ask for help if you need it. Someone will answer, because people are essentially good people.
