People are not interested in what you want to sell…they are only interested in what they want to buy! That is such a critical point that I want to shout it from the highest mountain… People are not interested in what YOU want to sell…they are only interested in what THEY want to buy! Do you see the difference in the approach?
Supply the Demand. Its a bit like K.I.S.S. but not as sexy.
The secret to profitable niche marketing is finding out what people want to buy and, THEN, supplying it to them. There is nothing better than a hungry market just waiting to buy what you have to offer and nothing worse than investing a great deal of time and money to promote something that doesn't sell.
If you are not so much fussed about finding your own niche and a lot more interested in doing profitable niche marketing then the best place to go is to Google Adsense and find out what is drawing a high bid click.
You could also check out market research sites and trend spotting sites. You can find the tools that analyse the Click Bank markeplace and check out the top ten seller list on Amazon. There is nothing wrong with finding a hot product and jumping on the bandwagon to hawk it to the gawkers, people have been doing it for centuries.

Google AdWords Keyword Tool

Click on the “Site-Related Keywords” tab and, in the search box with the http:// add the Google URL so that it looks like this…http://www.google.com. 3. Make sure the “Include other pages on my site linked from this URL” box is checked. 4. In the “Choose data to display:” box, select the choice that says “Cost And Ad Position Estimates” 5. In the next box that says “Calculate Estimates using Max CPC:” choose your currency. 6. In the next box, put in a maximum “cost per click” such as 20 for $20.00 7. Go back to the top of the tab, click on “Get Keywords” and wait for it to do its calculations. 8. Once it has finished its calculations and gives you the lists, click on the column “Estimated Avg. CPC” to sort it by the highest cost per click.
Now you have a list of keywords that is sorted from the highest cost per click to the lowest cost per click. The words that cost the most “per click” are the profitable niche marketing areas where people are willing to spend the most money on advertising. If they are spending a lot of money on advertising, it is most likely a niche blog built around these keywords is one where there is money to be made.
